Tempo Time Credits and Surfability U.K. CIC
We would like to welcome Surfability U.K. CIC to the Tempo Time Credit network. Surfability U.K. CIC are a community interest company that provides surfing lessons and experiences for people with additional needs due to disability, illness, injury or learning difficulties. They aim to combine best practice from special education, health care, surfing, and lifeguarding so that anyone can take part in surfing. Located at Caswell Bay on the Gower, they’re now at the forefront of global adaptive surfing with two locations on the Gower. The Surfability U.K. CIC volunteers help to support the organisation in a variety of ways all with equal importance. Volunteers can support participants in the water, carry out admin, communications, fundraising and even treasury roles.
Surfability U.K. CIC have joined Tempo Time Credits to:
- Reward the hardworking volunteers who give their time
- Attract new volunteers to grow the organisation
- Make adaptive surfing even more accessible.
Our aim is to help Surfability U.K. CIC achieve these objectives and expand the organisation to help make surfing even more inclusive. We are delighted to have them as one of our new groups and can’t wait to start working with them.
