See the sights!
No visit to London is complete without a visit to Tower Bridge. This iconic landmark will transport you back to Victorian times with fascinating exhibitions, its magnificent engine room, and the thrill of seeing London life through the Glass Floor! We recommend booking your tickets and time slot before you go.
Take to the Thames and discover a new way to move through the capital on the Thames Clipper. With 23 piers across London between Woolwich (Royal Arsenal) in the East and Putney Pier in the West, you can travel Monday to Friday anytime after 9am using your Time Credits for any single journey. So avoid the rush-hour hassle, the navigating of tubes and take to the river instead! Which leads nicely onto our next suggestion . . .
The Old Royal Naval College is the centrepiece of the Maritime Greenwich Heritage Site and was previously home to a Royal Palace and a Royal Hospital. Designed by Sir Christopher Wren, its walls contain a wealth of historical moments from the birthplace of Henry VIII to Lord Nelson’s resting place.
Use your Time Credits to visit it’s stunning Painted Hall known as the UK’s Sistine chapel and gain free entry to The Chapel, Sackler Gallery and Visitor Centre too. Plenty of hands-on exhibits to let the kids explore.
Want more of an adventure?
Take to the trees with a Tree Top Challenge with Go Ape next to Alexandra Palace. Granted it’s not your typical forest style location if you’ve done Go Ape before, but it’s all the more challenging for it. Something for all the family from newbies through to the ultimate thrill seeker with their amazing panoramic views a great reason not to look down! Time Credits are accepted every Friday between 10am and 1pm.
If you prefer to keep your feet firmly on the ground you can explore the city with our national partners, Treasure Trails. You can choose a detective story, treasure hunt or spy missions as your self guided tour takes you through winding back streets, and hidden corners to unlock incredible stories from the past.
There are nearly 50 trails within 5 miles of the centre of London and over 1200 nationwide. The perfect day out for any budding Miss Marple or Hercule Poirot or adults who never quite grew up! Time Credits can be used to download a trail of your choice.
What if it rains?
This is the UK after all, and we all know school holidays and showers are not a great combination. Arthouse is a dynamic cultural venue in a unique hub in North London and your Time Credits offer access to their independent cinema all day on a Monday and up to 5pm Tuesdays to Fridays. So just the popcorn or a bag of Haribo to secure from the concessions stand before the film starts.
Alternatively Park Theatre, Finsbury Park offer World Class theatre productions throughout the year that you can access with your Time Credits. Only 2 tickets available per performance though so you need to be quick.
Tempo offer a wide range of other family friendly activities across the country with fabulous local attractions to ensure your children’s memories are the talk of the playground!
