How to grow your business with Tempo Time Credits

Every business has a growth strategy that changes as the business develops from a start-up to an established company. These will be bespoke to the individual company but all will involve marketing strategies to increase awareness, strategic planning for future investment, and opportunities to sell more products and services to potential customers.

Sounds simple, doesn’t it!  We work with over 750 businesses year-round that use Tempo Time Credits to support their business in a number of different ways.

How Tempo Time Credits work

Before we explain the benefits of partnering with us we need to highlight how our Time Credits work.

  • Individuals earn Time Credits when they volunteer with a charity or community program that is part of the Tempo network.
  • Volunteers use their credits on a wide range of activities, products, and services, such as days out at family attractions, cultural experiences, and health & fitness.
  • Activities, products, and services are provided by business partners affiliated with Tempo – our recognition partner group.

Increase footfall – business when you want it

Not all businesses are the same. Busy periods for some can be agonisingly quiet for others depending on your business location and your customer base. As a Tempo Recognition Partner, you can choose what suits your business best.  If your existing customers keep you busy on a weekend you can tailor your offering to midweek, if you want to keep the school holidays exempt we can do that too.

This flexibility benefits small business owners who can ensure they don’t get overwhelmed at already busy times and larger organisations to ensure their Tempo offering fits within their overall marketing strategy.  There is no contract, no hidden fees, and no minimum tickets required – you can switch your offer on and off as your business dictates.

Not just a free ticket

Time Credits make good business sense.

In our most recent survey:

  • 77% of our volunteers spend at least £5 during a visit
  • 74% ‘sometimes’ or ‘always’ bring a paying friend with them
  • 54% return as a paying customer

Raising awareness – promoting your business to your local community

There are over 68,000 volunteers who have earned Tempo Time Credits to date and over 1 million Time Credits have been issued across the UK. Each volunteer has access to our digital platform which lists the offers from all of our recognition partners.  Promotions can be admission to an attraction, food and drink, tickets for an advert or an online service or resource. Businesses are featured across our national and regional social media platforms and each volunteer receives two monthly emails highlighting offers in their area and further afield.

This provides targeted awareness of your offer to your local community, prompting customer loyalty and the possibility of return visits.

Giving back to the community

Every business wants to be recognised within their community as a great place to visit, shop, spend time in or work for. Giving back to the people in your community who selflessly give their time to local charitable organisations that need them is a fantastic way to offer your support. Granted it doesn’t relate directly to your bottom line, but businesses that don’t command the support of their local communities don’t flourish.

Interested?

If we’ve ticked a few boxes for your business and you’re keen to know more then get in touch with the Tempo team and let’s start the journey of your business becoming our next Recognition Partner.
