Join us at the Volunteer Expo Live
We’re delighted to be Exhibition Partners at this year’s Volunteer Expo at The NEC in Birmingham on Friday 6th & Saturday 7th May. Hosted by Rotary in Great Britain and Ireland this national event aims to connect volunteers, charity partners and organisations together under one roof – a perfect fit for the work we do here at Tempo.
Whether you already volunteer or are looking for your next opportunity, visitors will be able to access a range of expert speaker sessions, workshops and seminars alongside the main exhibition.
Workshop session: Friday 6th May at 2pm
Mark Froud, our CEO, is presenting his workshop session ‘ Recognising and Rewarding Volunteers’ in the Connecting Communities Zone on Friday 6th May at 2pm. Mark will outline how Tempo Time Credits can help organisations reach new volunteering audiences and retain existing volunteers by rewarding those that contribute their valuable time and skills.
Alongside Mark’s workshop there are also opportunities to hear from well known names from the world of sport and entertainment. Ben Cohen, Hannah Mills and Chizzy Akudolu among others will share how they have used their platforms to raise awareness of issues close to them.
Also featured is current Sports Personality Unsung Hero, Sam Barlow. She started Fitmums & Friends in her East Yorkshire village as a way to socialise with other parents and now has over 950 people active in her network!
Meet the team: Stand A40
Tempo will have a presence in the main exhibition hall too (Stand A40). We would be delighted to share with new partners how successful our platform is in connecting communities and bringing about real change.
So why not join us? Free tickets for the event are available by registering online.
If you would like to arrange a time to meet with the Tempo team at the Volunteer Expo or at another suitable date please get in touch via our website.
