Pale Green Dot – our new sustainable recognition partner

We’re very excited to announce our latest partnership with ethical grocery provider, Pale Green Dot. It’s great to have Pale Green Dot onboard, who will be our first permanent recognition partner to offer groceries to volunteers by delivering fresh fruit and vegetable boxes to their doors. We are very happy to be working alongside a company with such high ethical standards that, like us, align their business objectives with helping other people.

In the last year since lockdown became part of normal life, food delivery services have become essential to all of us. Delivering veg boxes across South East England six days a week, the staff at Pale Green Dot do an amazing job, making sure all their customers have access to fresh fruit and vegetables so they can stay safe at home.

“Inspiring good health and giving back to communities is at the forefront of Pale Green Dot’s mission with Tempo. We’re thrilled to be partnering with Tempo to offer their volunteers our incredible fresh produce in exchange for their hard-earned Tempo Time Credits. By spending your Tempo Time Credits with us you are supporting local farmers and achieving your sustainability goals both environmentally and socially with us and with Tempo.”

A big thank you for recognising the contribution volunteers make and welcome onboard!

What makes Pale Green Dot unique?

It’s simple! They focus on being a sustainable-driven fresh produce company working close to the food loop and supporting the people who supply the produce. They work with growers to source restaurant quality, seasonal and local produce that has been grown using sustainable methods.

Locally Sourced

Working with farmers in the South East England to source seasonal and local fruit and veg to fill their boxes.

Sustainably Farmed

Working with small, local growers and producers to source sustainably grown fruit and veg, dairy items and ethically reared meat.

Plastic Free

Caring for the environment by striving to be single-use and plastic-free across all their operations.

The Pale Green Dot foundation

Pale Green Dots foundation are committed to becoming an industry leader in the sustainability sector and we’re proud to be the first partner of this foundation who like us, want to make a difference to people’s lives.

Pale Green Dot work with not-for-profit and charity sector organisations with the aim to develop an understanding of the impact that the food industry has on the environment and public health. Through campaigns, promotions, and events, they hope to bring together chefs, growers, and the wider food community to increase the awareness of the issue at hand and make the industry more environmentally friendly.

How can I get involved and what’s on offer?

We are delighted to have them on board and being able to offer their services to Tempo Time Credit volunteers, many of whom are busy volunteering and helping their community and don’t have time to get to the shops. To celebrate the new partnership there will be a 20% discount for volunteers who sign up for a subscription to their delivery service with their Tempo Time Credits.

You can view the offer here. Or if you would like to know more about them, head to their website here.

The discount being offered is 20%, in return for 3 Time Credits, this can be used on a weekly box, bi-weekly box or just one-off boxes. Pale Green Dot deliver to London and some areas of the South East. Please check their website for details.
