Wales Millennium Centre returns as Recognition Partner

We are delighted to welcome Wales Millennium Centre back to Tempo Time Credits.

The Centre has been part of our Recognition Partner Network for the past six years offering tickets for a wide range of productions such as Shrek, Annie, Cirque Berserk and performances from the Northern Ballet.

This iconic venue in Cardiff Bay is a home for the arts in Wales. It prides itself on curating world-class, critically acclaimed touring productions alongside its own theatre productions, festivals and digital experiences.

They are committed to community engagement and the desire to appeal to new and diverse audiences. Partnering with Tempo offers them the opportunity to build and grow their networks, working with individuals to shape their expanding programme.

Naturally, as with many arts venues across the UK, lockdown impacted their ability to welcome performances to the stage. So we’re thrilled that now the doors are back open they have returned to the Tempo family.

Their first offer to our volunteers was tickets to the amazing production of Singin’ in the Rain this week. This was so well received by our volunteers that they have now offered further tickets to two future performances:

Anthem – Wednesday 20th July
Four regions. Four songs. One prize. With the land of song judging from their sofas, who will come out on top? This new Welsh language musical comedy will leave a smile on your face long after the last note has been sung.

The Boy with Two Hearts – Tuesday 13th & Saturday 17th September
A true story of a young mother who speaks out against the Taliban, forcing her and her family to flee their home and country. They embark on a long and terrifying journey across Russia and through Europe, before they seek final refuge in the UK. But, as their eldest son’s life-threatening heart condition worsens and requires urgent surgery, their escape soon becomes a race against time.
